Such a beautiful Mass at St Catherine cemetery on November 10, 2018. There were beautiful blessings given to all. You could feel God‘s touch as He stood by us. You could see Christ’s presence in everyone. You could hear the Holy Spirit as we prayed together. Thank you Father Anthony, because of your prayers when Mass was over you could feel peace fall over our deceased parishioners. Deacon Albert, thank you for your kind words and your hopes and prayers that we all can work together to help take care of the cemetery. Deacon Dave, thank you for the love that you shined upon all of us, for always wanting to take care of our dearly departed. To the men and women from Catholic Funeral & Cemetery Services, thank you for helping put this together, for our sweet treats, and of course for helping set-up and take-down. And, thank you to the Knights of Columbus for our lunch, for always being present, and for all the blessings you bestow on St Catherine. As time moves forward our cemetery shows the signs of old age. It continues to rust, cement breaks down, an American flag fades, trees lose their bark, but there’s one thing that will not fade away, breakdown, or rust and that’s the love that our deceased parishioners had for St. Catherine of Siena Church and their devotion to Catholicism. —Maria Brennan
