The Bishop's office sent out the updated guidelines based on the changes in the State of California directives. Though we are hopeful as things move in the right direction, it doesn't change much for us in regards to our current protocols. To follow the expected protocol are capacity still remains at 25%.
Key protocols that still remain: - Social distancing of six feet (Families may sit together)
- Masks must be worn
- Basic Hygiene must be observed
- Distribution of the Precious Blood remains suspended
- Congregational singing not yet allowed
- Holy Water Fonts remain empty
- Sign of peace without physical contact
- Greeting of the Faithful before or after Mass should be outdoors, distanced
- Social gatherings like coffee hour are still not allowed
Allowed at the Discretion of the Pastor/Parish Administrator: - Altar Servers (Masked)
- Offertory Collections
- Presentation of the Gifts
- Extra Ordinary Ministers of Communion to the homebound (if vaccinated)
