Pentecost

The holy day of Pentecost celebrates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and other followers of Jesus Christ as He had promised. It is celebrated fifty days after Easter Sunday and marks the end of the Easter season. The word Pentecost is Greek in origin and means "fiftieth".
