St. Catherine of Siena Parish invites contractors who are interested to submit a bid for the renovation of our Parish kitchen. The bidding process will work as follows: Bid to complete the scope of work for our Parish kitchen according to the drafted plans submitted by Design for Dining and approved by all local entities required by the City of Martinez to date. All measurements are to be verified by contractors prior to submitting a bid.
BIDS WILL NOT necessarily be awarded to the lowest bidder. The Diocese of Oakland/St. Catherine of Siena is a private enterprise and is not bound to award a job to the lowest bidder. Price will be a major consideraƟon when awarding bids, however, when bids are within 5% of each other, other factors may be taken into account to make a decision. In such cases, issues such as familiarity with the contractor, confidence in their performance, etc., may be the determining factor in making the final choice.
The bid walk is scheduled for Friday, February 17, 2023, at 10 am. Estimated date of delivery to be (TBD) based on approval, Diocesan and City of Martinez review. All proposals are due by March 15, 2023, by end of the business day.
